China is known for its silk, so of course I had to visit a silk factory. The obligatory showroom at the end of the tour was at least 3 times the size of the factory part, so the silk production portion of the tour was surely just a demo. I did manage to blow my budget when I found the 'remnant' bin.

I am soooo jealous. My little brother who lived in Thailand, used to send me silks often or on request...lost my little brother a year ago and now I have to drool over others experiences. One day I may get there in person to paw through the remnant bins!

I've been there more than once, was so excited to find my first remnant bin! Just thinking about that bag of goodies is fun.
