Adding Decorative Stitches to the Quilting Design

Lets face it, I love the Quilting. I am always looking for a way to change it up. I found a very simple way...Decorative Stitches. We all have them, let's use them!

The first thing most notice here is the 'rough' satin stitch. That's a good thing, but look closer and you will see the TRIPLE stitch (sometimes the lingerie or stretch stitch). Most machines have one. Three times the thread! It's great. No extra trouble, no changing the thread, needle or tension.

This is one of my favorite and I use the walking foot! Straight lines interrupted with a satin stitch.

It can easily be changed up a bit by simply making the satin stitch longer.

What other ideas can you come up with?
