There are many types of thread available to today’s quilter. There is no longer one 'correct' color. It is appropriate to use more than one color on the same quilt. Metallic threads require some special handling but are frequently well worth the effort.

The stitching is so nice. May I ask what kind of machine was used?

I used my Bernina, most of the stitching can be stitched on any zigzag machine.
