Grandparents are or have been very special people in our lives.
Sometimes they allow us to do these things parents don't like us to do.
We all remember how fun it could be -most of the time- being with our
grandparents. Maybe your grandmother even taught you how to sew or maybe
you are doing the same with your granddaughter now. Isn't that fun?!?
Or how about playing with the button jar for hours??
Grandparents are very special, but we never hear very much about Grandparents' Day.
National Grandparent's Day originated
in 1978, forty years ago. Then President Jimmy Carter declared
Grandparents' Day to be the first Sunday after Labor Day.
