Monet lived in the house with its famous pink crushed brick
façade from 1883 until his death in 1926.
On the walls, reproductions of Monet's works show the
atmosphere of the place at Monet's times. The painter liked to keep a record of
each step of his career. 
My favorite room in the house (besides the studio) is the
dining room. Monet, didn't care for fashion, which was very dark and heavy in
Victorian times, had it painted in two tones of yellow.
